RARI Nutriton Infinity Pre Workout reviews are all over Amazon. Which is to be expected considering it’s one of Amazon’s darling new pre workouts that touts energy, focus, and performance without any creatine or artificial ingredients. I think that this pre workout has alot going for it on the surface, which is what drew me in, in the first place. In this review I’m going to tell you all about if this pre workout lived up to it’s hype and is actually worthy of a spot in your pre workout drawer. So what can you expect to learn in this RARI Nutriton Infinity Pre Workout review? A few things. First. Does it work. That should be first and foremost in our minds when we talk about these pre workout supplements. The next thing we’ll talk about is TASTE. Nobody wants something that tastes lousy. After that we’ll discuss the ingredients and formulation. What is in this pre workout. I’ll go over the entire list for you and analyze it. The final criteria we’ll discuss is the packaging. Is RARI worthy of praise, aesthetically speaking? We’ll find out. Ok let’s just get started.
RARI Nutrition is in that class of supplement brands that seems to live almost entirely on Amazon. It will be interesting to see what happens when Amazon makes their OWN pre workout and crushes RARI, won’t it? I think so too. But for the meantime, brands like RARI, Genius, Legion, and other what I call ‘Amazon darlings’, seems to be making quite a name for themselves. But as you know, some of those products just aren’t that fabulous. Some, like Legion, are quite good, but others aren’t I was very curious if RARI was going to join the ‘YAY’ or ‘NAY’ list. Let me start getting to that answer by telling you what happened during both workouts that I took RARI Nutrition pre workout.
Does RARI Nutrition Pre Workout Work Well?
I have tried RARI Nutrition pre workout twice now. The first time was before a very extreme lower body workout during which I almost broke every bone in my foot by dropping a dumbbell. Yep I’m serious. I dropped a 75 pound dumbbell like two inches from my foot. I could feel the wind from the impact through my shoe. It was so terrifying. But you don’t care about my foot you care about knowing if the RARI Pre Workout works. And the answer is that yes it DOES work, but only at two scoops. I tried Infinity pre workout for two workouts and the first workout, the one where I dropped the dumbbell, I had only taken one scoop to assess my tolerance, as directed on the RARI Nutrition label. I had energy for like two seconds and then it went away.
I still had an okay workout with Infinity, but NOTHING like what I was anticipating. So yesterday I did go ahead and add a second scoop of RARI Infinity pre workout to my shaker before I got started doing HIIT class. I had WAY more energy today than yesterday. I think the two scoop dosage not only gave me very REAL energy for the duration of my workout, but it also gave me so much more stamina and endurance. I Felt great from start to finish. So at two scoops I have to give RARI Infinity pre workout an 8/10. At one scoop it is just a 6/10. Okay so let’s look at the ingredients in Infinity pre workout and see what sort of ingredients are in here.
What is in Infinity Pre Workout?
There are tons of vitamins in RARI infinity. Like. Tons. And there is also an ‘Infinity Blend’ that contains the non-vitamin ingredients. I’ll list out everything here starting with the vitamins:
So you see this is a pretty standard list of ingredients once you get into the Infinity blend. The vitamin complex is more robust than most other pre workouts, but the actual infinity blend is quite standard. You have citrulline malate for strength and pumps…caffeine of course for energy (which the genius pre workout does NOT have)…beta-alanine for endurance…and some other odds and ends.
One thing I want to call out that I do NOT like about the Infinity pre workout blend is that it contains agmatine sulfate. I have never been a fan of agmatine because it gives me a headache. So if you are wondering if there are any side effects of the RARI Infinity pre workout, I would say that it’s headaches. You might not get them but I know most of my friends get agmatine headaches as well. Okay so the formula is pretty standard. I’ll give it a B. Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. TASTE.
What’s the Best Flavor of RARI Nutrition Infinity Pre Workout?
The best flavor of the Infinity pre workout is without a doubt the blue raspberry. But here’s the tricky part. The blue raspberry flavor of RARI Nutrition Infinity Pre Workout tastes terrible. It really is not good. It has some tartness to it the way many other pre workouts do, but the flavor itself is not good at all. It tastes like stale blueberries. Literally that big mushy mealy blueberry that tastes terrible. I literally would’ve named this flavor of RARI pre workout ‘mushy blueberry’ that’s how bad it is.
So knowing that, you can only imagine how bad the strawberry lemonade flavor of RARI Infinity is. The strawberry flavor is SO bitter and lacks so much real fruit flavor that I wanted to spit it out. ESPECIALLY at two scoops (I took it for the two-scooper day today). Eek. It is just bad. Both the Strawberry Lemonade and Blue Raspberry flavors taste super bitter at the end, while both lack the right sweetness level to offset them. And on top of that both Infinity pre workout flavors have horrible actual fruit flavors. It’s just bad. I give them a D on taste. But maybe packaging could be their saving grace?
Infinity Pre Workout Packaging is Unique. I don’t Mind it.
I have a tendency to be overly critical when it comes to packaging. I will admit it. But RARI Nutrition Infinity is one pre workout that I actually do not mind. It is sort of a combination of the old Myokem packaging mixed with some very new-age ‘high-tech’ vibes that I think work out really well for them.
Then again, maybe I’ve just been expose to such poor packaging in recent weeks with my PESciene Vegan Protein and the Ground-Based pre workout that my eye has just been yearning for something even REMOTELY aesthetic. And RARI pre workout is just that. It uses a handsome black backdrop in front of which to present several intriguing graphics. While the name ‘RARI’ is odd, the logo is cool-looking. The overall color palette of metallics and thin gold fonts create a very distinctive package that I’m sure has contributed to the success of this Infinity pre workout. Overall I’ll give them a 9/10 on packaging. Okay. That’s enough for today. Let’s summarize.
RARI Nutrition Infinity Pre Workout Summary
Final Score: 8.3/10
So where do we net out with this Infinity pre workout? Let’s go over the key findings. It tastes TERRIBLE. It works PRETTY GOOD. It looks PRETTY GOOD. And the formula is PRETTY GOOD. So basically it all comes down to price. And let me bring this up again from earlier in the review. RARI Infinity works great at TWO scoops, BUT, there are only 15 servings per container if you dose it that way. So you are at $2/serving. So even though $29.99 seems like a great price for pre workout, you have to keep in mind that you really are shelling out a premium price per serving. And given the taste of Infinity, and the rather vanilla ingredient-list, I just don’t think the value is QUITE there yet.*
