Hello all and welcome to my Dynoshred review. In this review I’m going to discuss the Dynoshred pre workout by Top Speed Nutrition. This is a product that I’ve had some time to test and digest and think about my final views on it, so kick back, relax and enjoy a totally comprehensive, mostly entertaining, and completely informative pre workout from yours truly. As with all my pre workout reviews, I’m going to give you the low-down across four different criteria related to the Dynoshred pre workout. If you’re new to the blog, the four different areas are as follows: Taste, Performance, Ingredients, and Packaging. These four different elements are then stacked up against the pricepoint- giving us a final value grade. The final value of this pre workout is probably going to end up being the final score, so why don’t we just skip right into this Top Speed Dynoshred review!

Top Speed Nutrition is a company that I was unfamiliar with until someone I follow actually posted about one of their products on Instagram. As always, my hawk eyes have a tendency to pick out any sports supplements that are in any situation at any given time. If only my memory was as sharp. I can’t seem to recall what the product or situation was now, or even who posted it. But what I can remember is that the product caught my eye as a female pre workout. Women’s pre workouts are always going to be one of my top review priorities. They have always been a passion of mine and they always will be. Top Speed’s Dynoshred even says right on it ‘female pre workout fat burner’. Now. Often times you will have your pre workout products and your fat burning products. But sometimes you do have these sort of medley products that actually work as both. Inspired Ember is one such product that comes to mind (read my full Ember review here). I was pretty stoked about how that product was able to give me super heightened energy while at the same time providing the fat oxidation benefit. The thing that I was interested in with Top Speed Dynoshred was if it was more pre workout or fat burner. So let me tell you what I found.

Top Speed Dynoshred Flavor Grade: 9.0

First things first. How does Dynoshred taste? The answer is that it tastes pretty dang good. This pre workout comes in two flavors: fruit punch and stawberry kiwi. My first thought was to go with a classic fruit punch flavor, but then I thought better of it and decided going with the strawberry kiwi. I know. Stawberry Kiwi isn’t exactly my ideal flavor, but truth be told I’m getting so sick of fruit punch that sometimes I feel like the fruit punch bowl man himself from Hawaiian Punch ads. LOL. I don’t mind fruit punch-flavored things, but I just feel like sometimes I get sick of them. So. Did I regret my decision to get the Strawberry Kiwi? No. Not at all. This strawberry kiwi flavor is actually on point. The flavors are strong and really most of them are strawberry. There are some notes of kiwi but the majority is strawberry. This is fine to me because I think artificial kiwi is sort of an unpleasant taste. For all intents and purposes you would think that this Dynoshred pre workout is only strawberry flavored. If I told you to close your eyes and take a sip of this pre workout without telling you what flavor it is, you would most likely shout out ‘strawberry!’ without thinking twice about it. That’s what I actually did to my fellow fittie Sonja. We both found this flavor to be absolutely delicious and full of fresh strawberry. The first thing you notice is the sweetness followed by quite a bit of sour and bitterness that does a nice job of balancing out the sweet. Super tasty. So taste is one thing, but performance is another. Nobody cares for just one without the other. How does this pre workout perform from a results standpoint?

Top Speed Dynoshred Performance Grade: 8.5

So I’m going to tell you something sort of personal that I’m not especially proud of, but I’ll put it out there. I’m trying to lose like 7 pounds. Which, for someone as lean as I already am, means I’ve got to go to a couple extremes to get down to where I’m trying to be. It’s not rocket science, really. I’ve got to work my butt off in the gym, and then work even harder in the kitchen. Yep. It’s hard work in that kitchen too. It’s as much a mental game as anything. I know I’ve got to be mentally strong and not allow myself to eat all of those things that I would normally eat when I’m at my normal weight.

The sucky thing about restricting calories to me isn’t even so much as not being able to eat those foods that I usually love. It’s more that I almost never have as much energy as I would like to have in the gym. The gym is my first love and I always love the feeling of being able to move around as much weight as possible and feeling strong in there. But alas, when you are on a restrictive diet, the last thing your body wants you to do is blow away a bunch of precious energy in the gym. But it absolutely has to. The body has no choice. The mind will control it’s every move. And there are no butts about it.

So needless to say I’ve been a pre workout fiend recently. Anything to help give me a mental edge in that gym. The Top Speed Dynoshred pre workout was actually just the thing that I needed today in there. I had a really tough workout today because I wanted to train my chest. I have ALWAYS struggled to get my chest to the level I want it to be for some reason. Actually I know the reason- it’s because I’m pretty sure my body mechanics always want to put the most tension on my shoulders when I’m trying to hit my chest. It’s just hard for me to isolate this body part for some reason. I don’t know why. But today with the help of Dynoshred I was able to get some really good repetitions out of my best. I felt like I had above average energy for someone who was on a 12 hour fast. I felt energized and also quite a bit stronger than usual, which is also super nice to someone who has been feeling weak AF while dieting. I pushed through my planned 10 set workout, and then even followed up with some extra ab work. Perfection.

Top Speed Dynoshred Formula Grade: 8.3

Dynoshred seems to be one of those pre workouts for women that exceeds it’s performance. The supplement facts panel is actually a proprietary blend, meaning you don’t really know how much of each ingredient you are getting in each scoop. But as you know from reading some of my more recent reviews, I could really care less about knowing how much of some ingredients are in the product. Like. So many of those numbers would mean nothing to me. Would it be nice to know ho wmuch caffeine is included per serving? Sure. But at the end of the day we can safely assume it’s a number between 150 and 300. Just take a stab at the number and go about your day. So what else is in Dynoshred? And what made it so effective for me in terms of energy? Well, here is the full ingredient list:

  • Beta Alanine
  • Taurine
  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Garcinia Cambogia
  • Mucuna Pruriens
  • Caffeine
  • Theobromine
  • Ascrobic Acid
  • Glucoronolactone
  • DIM (Diindolylmethane)

So that’s all. It’s not a ground-breaking formula, but one that I found to work exceptionally. What’s interesting about this pre workout for women is that you have an estrogen boosting ingredient in here. Most pre workouts like Fitmiss Ignite for example, will simply be the replica of a men’s pre workout, but with some of the ingredients omitted. This is not the case as Dynoshred has DIM, which is a natural estrogen-booster. So don’t give this pre workout to your man by accident, LOL. So that’s the ingredient list. Nothing too crazy. You’ve got the usual suspects in Tyrosine, ALCAR, and Taurine and caffeine. What I actually don’t see much of in Dynoshred is much of the fat burning stuff. Sure caffeine counts, and Garcinia is a fat burner (not really proven though), but this is a pre workout through and through. Nothing too wild in terms of fat burning. Ok. I know I’m being a little long-winded today. Let’s move on to packaging.

Top Speed Dynoshred Packaging Grade: 8.0

I’m going to give Dynoshred a B minus on the packaging side of things because it just isn’t that great aesthetically. If I had to choose one thing that I do really enjoy about this packaging it is the purple colors that you find on the packets. They start as a darker purple, and then move towards a much warmer pinkish shade as you get towards the middle of the wrapper. The Top Speed Nutrition logo needs to be talked about really quickly. It looks like something from the Speed Racer cartoons from the old days (yeah I know you remember those lol). Actually the Top Speed Nutrition brand in general is a very interesting theme that reminds me of auto racing. I’m not totally sure what that has to do with fitness, but in a weird way I don’t really mind it. The best part about Dynoshred packaging, though, isn’t about colors or fonts or patterns at all though. The best part about Dynoshred is that it comes in single serve packets that you can easily take on the go. I really really really enjoy that.

Top Speed Dynoshred Review Summary

  • Top Speed Dynoshred Flavor Grade: 9.0
  • Top Speed Dynoshred Performance Grade: 8.5
  • Top Speed Dynoshred Formula Grade: 8.3
  • Top Speed Dynoshred Packaging Grade: 8.0
  • Top Speed Dynoshred Value Grade: 8.8

I’ve got to give it to Top Speed Nutrition. They’ve made a really strong effort with Dynoshred to put out a women’s pre workout that is JUST different enough that you really have to take notice and give it a shot. The Flavor is solid. The formula and packaging are average, but the product just flat out works. I would recommend Dynoshred a shot if you are on the market for a new pre workout.
