Myokem Pyroxamine reviews are my new specialty. You want to know why I say that? Because I can read the future, and the review that you are about to read is going to blow you away. I can promise you a few things in this time we have together. The first is that you are going to be entertained. That’s right. You won’t find another supplement reviewer who brings the same amount of passion to the review table than me. The other thing I can promise you is that you are going to know everything about Myokem Pyroxamine. Other than how to spell it because I think I’ve spelled it two different ways already- both of them wrong, LOL. But, spelling aside, you will know everything ELSE about Pyroxamine. What do I mean by that? Well, the first thing that I’m going to tell you, in case you are in a hurry and won’t care the rest of my rambling, is IF PYROXAMINE WORKS. That’s right. See? I told you I can tell the future, AND read minds. You are here because you probably want to drop a few pounds. Like me, maybe you’ve had a rough stretch of work, working out, and if you’re REALLY like me you may have had a rough stretch of dating as well. I swear that has only contributed to my, er, slighly weight gain over the past three weeks. Because relationship issues lead to more wine consumption which leads to more pizza consumption which leads to weight gain. It’s not rocket science, people. So I’ll tell you how the last two weeks have gone for me as I’ve tried to pull my life (aka my body) back together with the help of Myokem. After that I’ll spend some time talking about the formula and also the packaging, but I want to focus on the effects. So let’s get started right away with this Myokem Pyroxamine Review.
Does Myokem Pyroxamine Work?
This is the million dollar question, right? You bet it is. Here is the thing that you have to know with Pyroxamine. This is partly a fat burner, sure. But this is MOSTLY a stimulant pill. I know. It sounds kind of harsh. But the fact of the matter is that MOST fat burners are actually just caffeine pills. And Pyroxamine is no different. The logic is that you will take these pills, and then the stimulants set in and do their job. ‘Job’ meaning they give you energy to do a bunch of different activities. Activities burn calories. Burned calories mean weight loss if you are burning more than you are eating. Another thing powerful stimulants do is keep your appetite down. So Pyroxamine is going to try and first of all BURN more calories for you, WHILE at the same time curbing your appetite to ensure you don’t eat more than are expelled. Sounds simple right? Sure. On paper it does. But let me tell you, the results are, well, a little muddy. Let me tell you what I mean by this. As you’ll learn in the formula review section below, there are some very serious stimulants in Pyroxamine. I’m a stim-junkie as you know, but even I was sort of raising my eyebrows at the combination of stims in here. One of them is actually banned from popular retail stores, because it is a synthetic ingredient developed in Russia (insert helpless eyes emoji). Yeahh. So glad I’ve been taking this for the last two weeks LOL. I’m sure I’m fine. I’ll just turn into Ivan Drago from Rocky II or something. It’s fine. But no, I did not turn into Drago. I didn’t turn into Jen Selter either. Or Paige Hathaway. Or anyone else with a way better bod than me. I think I pretty much stayed the same. If I had to pull the microscope out and give you a list of changes, it would have to be these three:
Chest and Shoulders: I think I MIGHT be a little leaner through the chest and shoulders since I started taking Myokem Pyroxamine. I’ve also been making a concentrated effort to hit these areas a little harder though, so it doesn’t really surprise me nor do I think I’m ready to give credit to this fat burner for my results in this area.
Lower Back: Another area that I definitely have been focusing on, but not quite to the extent of the shoulders. I think there is a chance that Pyroxamine has helped me lose a little bit of that ‘looseness’ that I sometimes see in my lower back and lower rear lats when I’m in an unflattering position. It just seems a little tighter back there.
Calves and Lower Quads: I don’t know if this is a function of my increased cardio and rowing, but basically my legs just look better all around from the mid-thigh down. The rowing that I’ve been doing has to be playing a part in this, but there’s a chance once again here that Myokem has helped a little bit.
So that’s pretty much it. I’m a little leaner in some places, but this is also because I’ve been on a bit of a diet for the past three weeks. I’ve recognized that I’m getting just a tad overweight (well, for me), and honestly I am going to give most of the credit for my progress to MYSELF rather than to Myokem. But this product MAY have helped. Let’s talk some more about the formula now. In summary re:benefits, I’ll give Pyroxamine an 8.3.
Myokem Pyroxamine Formula Grade: 8.3
I’ll give this fat burner the same grade on the formula that I did in the performance section. There’s nothing really remarkable in this formula in terms of actual FAT loss ingredients. Well. There are some remarkable names in this supplement facts panel, but nothing that blows me away. In fact the entire ‘fat loss’ component of the blend is only 340mg. That’s not a ton of real estate to work with to begin with. What IS in this ‘Accelerated Lipo-Regulating Matrix’ (aka the fat loss part) is:
- Caralluma Fimbriata Herb Powder
- Olive Leaf Extract
- Bacopa Monniera Extract
- Paradoxine Grains of Paradise Extract
- Evoidia Rutaecarpa Extract
Honestly other than the olive leaf extract and the evodiamine, the rest of this fat loss blend sounds like snake oil. I mean. Grains of Paradise? Is that for real? I guess what sort of creeps me out about this formula is not so much the names of the stuff in there, but the fact that I just don’t see them in other formulas. I’m not concerned that they might be dangerous, but definitely skeptical as to their effectiveness.
The other half of each serving of Pyroxamine is devoted to the stimulants that I mentioned before. The ‘banned’ one (not sure why I put that in quotes…it’s actually banned LOL), is called Pikatropin, and I believe this is a blend of niacin and GABA, which supposedly gives a sort of calming and focus effect that helps you to better prepare for the upcoming workout. Oh wait. This isn’t a pre workout. This is a fat burner. So I guess it helps you focus on the upcoming…fat burning session? Anyways. Other stuff in here includes:
- Caffeine
- Citicholine Sodium
- Theobromine
- Hordenine
- Methyltyramine
- Higenamine
- Huperzia Serrata
- Piperine Black Pepper Extract
- Rauwolfia Vomitoria (love that name)
So the thing about the formula is that higenamine, rauwolfia, AND Pikatropin are ALL stimulants that are sort of ‘on the edge’, or in other words these are all in that gray area where not all companies will use them because there is some doubt as to their safety. And several companies are probably scared that those ingredients will be the next ones to be banned, so why consider using them? Well. This shows Myokem is clearly just not afraid. I think after digging into this formula myself I’ll probably cease use just because I’m not that hardcore where I’m going to possibly risk health for some fat loss. And plus it just didn’t work that well for me soo. Moving on. Let’s talk packaging. Something Myokem IS actually fantastic at.
Myokem Pyroxamine Packaging Grade: 9.3
Ok throw the dog a bone. Myokem has some drop-dead gorgeous packaging. I actually read an Instagram meme today that said ‘every cool girl is half boy’. What does that have to do with Myokem Pyroxamine? Everything! This packaging is just plain old badass. The tomboy in me is doing pushups and watching star wars and gloriously stroking the Pyroxamine packaging. That’s something you will never read in any other Pyroxamine review. THIS I can promise you. LOL. But seriously. Pyroxamine has a really sharp look. The package itself is black, and has dark, brilliant green accents. The green is not the neon green of a Musclepharm or Musclesport Lean Whey or something like that, but rather the sort of really handsome dark green that you find on Kris Gethin’s Pre-Kaged (read my awesome Pre Kaged Review). The name Pyroxamine is even neat. It’s hard AF to spell, but it’s a cool name. The other thing I really appreciate about this design is the subtle ‘science-y’ graphics in the background of the label. They are gloss over a matte background so even though they are black on black, they appear in various lighting conditions. Super attractive. Even the Myokem logo is cool. The font is big and bold, and their usage of the ‘molecular’ / ‘hex’ pattern is appropriate and used tactfully without seeming corny and forced. Well done, Myokem in the packaging department.
Myokem Pyroxamine Review Summary:
- Myokem Pyroxamine Perfomance Grade: 8.3
- Myokem Pyroxamine Formula Grade: 8.3
- Myokem Pyroxamine Packaging Grade: 9.3
- Myokem Pyroxamine Value Grade: 7.5
Even though Myokem has wonderful packaging and probably quite an expensive formula given the amount of powerful stimulants in it, there isn’t enough effectiveness to justify a $50 price tag. I think if you like the feeling of being super-energized and can justify dropping $50 on a fat burner, Pyroxamine might be for you, but it’s just not for me.*
