I’ve been taking Black Onyx for the past two weeks, and let me tell you, this stuff will probably get sold everywhere. And in large quantities. In this, my THIRD Hydroxycut review, I’ll tell you why. In this review, I’ll tell you WHY I think this product is poised to be a success. I’m going to go over the pros and the cons, and of course tell you what my final review score is. I don’t know the last time I’ve typed this fast or precisely. I wonder if taking two servings of this Hydroxycut SX-7 Fat Burner has had something to do with it. I’m sure it probably has. Because let me tell you. Even if I haven’t lost a ton of fat, or changed my physique very much over the last two weeks, there are a few things that certainly have happened since I started taking Hydroxycut SX-7 Black Onyx Max. I suppose I should just cut straight to the chase and tell you what they are and how this product worked. Usually I spend half of my review rambling on about my love life, my facebook habits, or my latest Ben and Jerry’s love affair. But. I guess I’ll spare you today. That just means my next review will be FULL of fun stuff like that. Lol. You’re like ‘ok, noted.’ Let’s talk about the thing you are here for- whether or not Hydroxycut SX-7 Black Onyx Max is an effective fat loss supplement for women. Or maybe you want to know if it will help you lose just pure pounds in general. And here is the answer: sort of.
Does Hydroxycut SX-7 Black Onyx Max Work?
Let me extrapolate a little bit. So. I’ve been taking this product for close to THREE weeks instead of the usual two. It’s because things were SO inconclusive for the two week trial fun that I did. After the first five days of taking this fat burner, I could have sworn nothing was ever going to happen in terms of weight loss and fat loss. They ARE two different things you know. Fat loss is what you get from the BEST fat burners. This is when you look lean and mean. Your muscles seem to be more defined and this is the look that I personally go for.
There are other products that can cause you to simply lose weight, and that includes your fat as well as your muscle. I don’t care all that much for these kinds of products because, well, like I said, I like the strong look better. But everyone has different goals. For those looking to lose just weight- no matter what the consequence is on muscle, than SX-7 Black Onyx Max Advanced Formula for Women might be for you.
So getting back to my personal experience (that last little interjection will make sense in a second, trust me), after the first five days I thought nothing was happening because I did look the same in the mirror. But then I got on the scale just for the sake of it, and then noticed that I had lost about a pound and a half. In five days. WHAT? For someone that is usually the same weight all year round, I was confused.
So I kept taking Hydroxycut SX-7 Black Onyx Max for women. A week later, again, I studied myself in the mirror, and I feel like I looked the exact same in terms of aesthetics and muscle tone. But then I got on the scale. Down ANOTHER 1.5 lbs.
I ended up losing close to four pounds when all was said and done. Again, that’s a lot of weight for me. But I honestly wasn’t crazy about my physique. This product makes you lose weight, but it’s going to take it from fat AND muscle, and if you are already in ok shape (I’m being humble there), you are going to probably look the exact same. That’s why I personally would prefer something like Legion Phoenix, or Unico Vulcan, which will cause you to lose weight, but in a way that leaves you looking way better. I’ll give this product about an 8.5 on the performance, and a slightly higher score on the formulation. Hydroxycut used to be that product that you really didn’t trust because everyone would talk about how jittery it made them. I think this one still sort of gives you that over-hyped, slightly over-stimmed feeling, but it’s not nearly as bad. And I’m going to give it good marks for another reason, which is that at the end of the day, it definitely has helped me lose weight. I mean. That’s what you want these things to do most of the time. I’m probably a bit of an outlier in my goals since I’m more advanced in my fitness goals. But let me list out these ingredients and then go over anything that jumps out to me.

By eye-balling this formula, you can notice a few things jump out. The first is that they have added some minerals to assist with various lady needs. They market this to women and say that it does have skin and nail boosting qualities. This is true, but it’s also true that the benefits are not going to be significant. It’s a fat burner, not a true beauty product. But hey who can blame them.
The fat loss comes from the coffee extract, which they call coffee ‘robusta’. That’s a fun way of branding the type of extract that they use. It’s essentially just a coffee extract high in chlorogenic acids. But it’s effective. I think probably 75% of the weight loss comes from that feature ingredient. The rest comes as a result of the Yohimbe and the caffeine working together to elevate your metabolism.
What I like maybe most of all about the Hydroxycut SX-7 Black for Women formula is that each of the ingredients are listed out as their own line item. In that sense this is a totally non-proprietary formula that is not trying to hide anything in a hidden blend. I think this helps the brand Hydroxycut as well, which, like I mentioned earlier, sort of struggled to find it’s way from a reputation standpoint. People just didn’t really trust it. But this formula is solid, so my hat is off to Muscletech/Hydroxycut for this.
Hydroxycut SX-7 Black Onyx Max Packaging Grade: 8.9
They are SO close to cracking the ‘A’ range on their packaging. This is my favorite ‘look’ from them to date. The original Hydroxycut SX-7 looks ok in its shiny red and chrome outfit, but this one is better. they’ve created something that is serious looking, but also definitely a feminine product. They color scheme is bold- using a dark background, and then tall, edgy italics to bring out the feature fonts. The ‘SX-7’ graphic looks particularly good in it’s ‘motion blur’ -style box thing.
I also really like the shade of pink that Muscletech uses on the this product as the secondary product. It’s serious and walks a fine line between being too much of a ‘girly’ pink, and a trashy hot pink. It’s almost somewhere between a purple and a pink. I like it.
What I think Hydroxycut SX-7 Black Onyx Max for Women could improve on in future versions of their product is having things be too cluttered on the front. The brand name and the logo are dominant, but then you have just SO much text on the lower half of the front of the Hydroxycut jar. You can’t possibly read all of it and take it all in unless you have like twenty minutes to set aside and read the label. This is an absolute weakness of the product that will likely be resolved in future runs. (You’re welcome Mucletech!). For advanced users like me it’s not a good play, and I think it’s also slightly over-priced, but all things considered I say it’s a successful product, and progress for the Hydroxycut brand.*
